Tell me About the Academy Space
We run our courses at an impressive educational salon owned by Headmasters, in Fulham Broadway, London SW6. We have capacity for up to 30 students with work stations for all and plenty of back washes but our classes will generally be smaller than this. On the intensive 3 day cutting course, each student will have two real hair wig blocks to use, which you can take home with you.
What will we cover on the 3-Day Cutting Course
What do I need to bring with me on the 3-Day Cutting Course
You must bring the following on day one of the course. We do not hold stock of any tools so strongly advise you to double check you have everything you need. Jennie shows an example of the tools in the video below.
List of tools required

Sharp pair of professional scissors

Two Afro picks. Large and small, preferably steel or saw cut.

Detangling tool e.g Paddle Brush, Manta Brush.

Classic Denman brush

Pintail comb

Hinged section clips x 6

Water spray

Professional hair dryer and large diffuser. A sock diffuser will not do.

LASTLY AND IMPORTANT! Please bring an over sized white t-shirt or white apron to slip on over clothes to show contrast when cutting.
All hair styling products will be supplied by the academy
What do I need to bring with me on the 3-Day Styling Course
You must bring the following on day one of the course. We do not hold stock of any tools so strongly advise you to double check you have everything you need

You will need your own styling kit and tools.

Professional hair dryer with nozzle & diffuser/not a sock diffuser.

Detangling tool/brush for wet hair

Denman Paddle brush

Afro pick. Steel or saw cut.

Classic Denman Brush

Large tooth comb.

Cutting comb

Metal Pin tail comb. Not a plastic tail.

Hinged sectioning clips. Regular ones won’t hold Afro hair.

Old pair of hair scissors

Mason and Pearson Brush or similar bristle brush.
